I have like a hundred thousand million billion projects that are in the queue. I guess the best I can do is focus on getting them done, one at a time. I like doing shows, but they take up a whole evening. I'm kind of happy having a few weeks where I can just hunker down and bang out some tracks or write up some of my completed interviews, go through my months of mail, etc etc

I am ken ken king.

I finally finished my first ever 8x8 kenken puzzle today!!! I knew I could do it!!! It really rips a hole in your brain, but it's so worth it.

You know, it's always nice to spend quality time with quality friends. I've been able to spend a lot of time with the people who are closest to me recently, and to me, that's what life is really about. Go team. Solid.

I hate it when I get hungry for meat, bread and chips. I wish I could snack on fruit or veggies, but those just often aren't very satisfying. It's like eating air. I don't want to just pack on calories and fat, but I don't know how to calm my urges. I try to drink a lot of water, which helps a bit...

Enjoy.

Thanks to Shockwave for making it happen!

A lot of people don't seem to get social tact. I'm not perfect myself, but I try to make everybody feel comfortable and at home. That's really all that I ask for. When you see someone at a party, you don't need to talk to them forever, but it's nice to at least chat for a few minutes and maybe share some sort of special moment in addition to status updates.

Yo, I recently bought Grand Theft Auto for my DS. At the same time, I bought Suikoden Tierkreis. They're both good games, but I got much more involed with ST. I was surprised when I switched back to GTA today to discover I hadn't played it since March!! Man, how time flies. Over two months without GTA. I feel like I was just playing it yesterday, but I guess not.

Too much excitement.

I'm doing a lot of writing lately. A lot for other people. Some of it I may even start getting paid for. We'll see. It's exciting. Right now, I have around 10 different clients / publications I'm involved with. We have fun. It's interesting being so connected to all of these different people.. yet so distant as well!!! Ponder that one for a while.

Work.

Nothing is all that difficult. It just has a start and an end. You gotta put in time and effort to get there. It helps to divide things up into little projects. Keep grinding away. Set goals. You will succeed if you keep at it. Never give up. Take breaks when necessary, but don't throw in the towel. Before you know it, you'll be finished and ready to move on to the next task.

One man show, it's the one man show. One man show, it's the one man show!

I added someone on facebook a few years ago, and he rejected my friend request. I added him again today, and he finally relented and accepted. Maybe we will even meet in person in a few years. Who knows. Exciting times.

In other news, my arms are extremely sore from carrying around heavy bags filled with props and merch to work and to my show, but I guess that's good because now, I'll be nice and strong, maybe. I ended up selling a good deal, so it was all worth it. It was a very fun show! Props to Nehedar, Toby Goodshank and the rest of the crew for bringing it!

I had a nice time catching up with my peeps who dropped by! Next show is Friday June 12 at NYC Five Points at Silk Road Place on 30 Mott Street! Tonight, I'm going to see Arthur Lewis perform at Rockwood Music Hall at 7pm. He's good.

Yo.

I went to the bwe tweet up, and there was this dumpy person there, standing all alone, looking really sad. And that made me kind of sad. But not so sad that I would try to fix things by saying hello. It's awkward because you might try to say hi to someone, and they could be all "who are you?" and then walk away, and then I'd be all "I didn't really want to meet you anyway, was just trying to be nice!" and then we'd all cry and spin in circles, drilling holes into the ground.

Wheeeeeee!!!

I ran into some performer friends though, so that was neatastic.

It's always funny after attending or performing at a comedy show, often times a whole bunch of comedians gather. I am basically a super-fan. Yeah I do a lot of comedy shows, but I'm not an actual stand-up performer, so I'll always feel like an outsider.

Generally I just want to leave afterward, but you see all these people you sort of know, so I feel like I should sort of talk to them.. I don't want to say hi and run away if they wanted to talk to me, but I don't want to stare them down if they didn't want to talk. So it creates an awkward few minutes as I wind my way outside and barely talk to a large group of people, one at a time. Some of them end up in my clutches, and we measure up. It's what-tastic!!

I discuss it a little bit in my new track "The Mic".

I recently bought a new monitor for my computer. The old one still worked, so I didn't want to just throw it away. I was excited to give it to someone else. That was fun. Makes me want to buy more new monitors and give them away to people. I didn't realize there was such a need for computer monitors. Maybe some day I will buy and donate computer monitors. This could be my new calling.
